The Washington, DC Tax Practice of a growing international law firm has an immediate opportunity for a mid-level Tax Credit Finance & Syndication associate with 2-5years (i.e., 2013-2016JDs) of substantive transactional experience involving federal historic rehabilitation tax credits and new markets tax credits.
Real estate finance, corporate transactions, and securities experience is highly valued, and a working understandingof government incentive programs, partnerships,limited liability companies, as well as experience withfinancial projections in the areas of historic preservation or community development is desired.
Candidates must demonstrate a history of significant transaction responsibility, excellent law school credentials from a top-tier law school and a desire to increase access and exposure to all manner of transactions, including developing and financing a variety ofprojects. Appropriate experience at the more senior end of the range will includethe ability to lead a transaction as well as an interest in the continued growth of your practice skill sets.
