The Role: The Washington DC Premium Seat Sales Department is in search of a highly motivated, organized and most importantly, enthusiastic individual who is interested in working within the very heart of the entertainment industry! As an intern, you will be provided with the opportunity to learn about various aspects of the Premium Seats program and to gain exceptional experience in corporate sales, special event planning, on-site event management, marketing and implementation. This internship is an educational opportunity and does not guarantee the selected intern will be hired by Live Nation in the future, though they may be considered for subsequent employment should a related position become available. Responsibilities & Qualifications:* Assisting PSS Staff as needed (including show days)* Partner with PSS team to learn and develop advertising strategies for the Premium Seats Program* Learn process for recruitment of new clients* Assist with ticket distribution and utilize Ticketmaster software to manage event inventory* Provide assistance in the PSS sales process including research, prospecting, marketing and administration support* Customer service, and an interest in event planning and management, venue operations and sales are all essential components of this internship* Qualified applicants must handle a fast-paced environment with good humor and exceptional customer service* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint (Graphic Design is a plus)* The ability to multi-task efficiently on a daily basis* Eager to learn and be proactive with new tasks* The ability to conduct yourself in a professional matter at all times* The ability to learn and absorb at a fast pace* Detail-oriented* Able to coordinate multiple work streams for on-time project delivery This internship will be based in in downtown Washington D.C. Having reliable transportation to go to and from our venue is desired. This internship is for college credit. It runs through the fall semester and may include added responsibilities through December. It is a non-paid position with flexible hours (minimum of 20 per week) to reflect the need of your college credit requirements.
