Responsibilities:The HR Intern will combine their education with practical HR experience in core HR areas such as employee relations, compensation, benefits, talent management and diversity. Assignments may include projects requiring research & trend analysis, benchmarking, assisting in the development of communication packages, conducting research on emerging HR issues, or project management, problem analysis and solution implementation related to HR initiatives.Assists HR team with a variety of projects and reporting.Contributes to various HR and benefit related projects and procesess including onboarding, benefits administation, training and development, compensation analysis, etc.Assists with updating and conducting new hire orientations.Responds to employee inquiries and escalates as needed.Compiles information from various sources; updates spreadsheets and correspondence.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsWorking toward a degree in HR or Business with a focus in HR is preferred. A minimum of one year (entry-level) related experience is desired.Ability to be discrete with sensitive information is required. Experience using Microsoft products is required.Must be detail-oriented. Some exposure to an office environment is a plus.One must have exceptional written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.One must have good problem-solving, analytical, and mathematical skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. A Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one will be required. U. S.
