Job Number: R0042875 Network Engineer Key Role: Manage and oversee O&M activities and support staff, including system, database, and network administrators in a network operations center. Lead day-to-day operations of a complex environment to maintain the network and mission systems and perform technical analysis of complex software, hardware, and transmission facility using various diagnostic tools in support of efficient network operations. Maintain responsibility for infrastructure, systems, and applications, including the design, implementation, sustainability, and deployment of system enhancements and upgrades and work closely with client leadership to report progress. Troubleshoot issues, plan and design for future system enhancements to the infrastructure, ensure system performance metrics are being met, and provide regular status and operational updates to all stakeholders. Interface with engineering and development teams to determine software requirements and manage upgrade and release schedules. Supervise network infrastructure, operation availability, and capabilities for incidents, problems, outages, and other issues impacting system performance or Cybersecurity events. Manage the network operations team to meet project goals and adhere to approved standards. Basic Qualifications: -5+ years of experience with system administration in Windows Active Directory and Group Policy -5+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows 2012 and Microsoft Exchange, including installing and maintaining applications, troubleshooting, reviewing logs, WSUS, patching and STIG application -3+ years experience COMSEC equipment including operation of OMNI and SECTERA modems -2+ years of experience working with the implementation and administration of VMware servers and systems -2+ years of experience with storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, and virtual storage -1+ years of experience with Linux server environments -Knowledge of DoD security compliance auditing, including DoD hardening, RMF, STIGs, and PKI -Ability to administer and manage rhythm servers and applications -Active Top Secret clearance -BA or BS degree in CS, Computer Information Systems, or Engineering Additional Qualifications: -1+ years of experience working with DMDS and C2OIX applications -Experience in administering Windows 2016 servers a plus -Knowledge of information security, including systems and network security, best practices, documentation, and user authentication -Knowledge of NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DoD or military service implementations of RMF -Ability to architect, design, develop AWS Environments and infrastructure, as well as experience configuring and deploying resources and services -Ability to meet the requirements for DOD 8570 IAT or IAM Level II certification, including CompTia Security+ -Possession of excellent technical and client-facing consulting skills -VMWare Certification -MCSE Certification for current Windows Server 2012 or 2016 -AWS Associate Level Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
